We had great fun last week during Active Week! All the boys and girls managed to achieve over 60 minutes of exercise a day throughout the week! Well done everyone!
Here are some photos of all the actives we had:
Walk a Mile with a Smile
Before our Easter Holidays, we had Seachtain na Gaeilge! The boys and girls took part in lots of activities through Irish, and they even learned some new songs and games!

Zumba as Gaeilge
This week we have been learning all about magnets! We tested lots of different objects with the magnets to see what they would attract. We also did lots of fun experiments with various types of magnets.
Check out these photos of our scientists at work!
Welcome back everyone! The boys and girls were hard at work their first week back. We finished revising all of our Junior Infant sounds from A – Z, they were great at remembering their Jolly Jingles! Here’s a video with the songs so that they can show you what they remember at home.
Last week we had a visit from none other than Santa Claus himself! He even gave us three lovely books for our classroom, even though they were a bit rude! (One of them was called “I Need a Wee!”) Santa also gave everyone a lovely pencil, an activity book and some very special reindeer food to help keep Rudolph and his friends going on their long journey!
This week we’ve been really enjoying watching Santa’s reindeer in the North Pole! We’ve even seen Santa himself a few times!
Here’s the link to the website so you can check up on the reindeer for yourself!
Preparations for our Christmas Play are well and truly underway! Lines have been sent home with the children who asked for them so please continue to practice these with your child!
So as not to put anymore pressure on parents this time of year, the school will be providing the costumes for the play. The children need only wear their tracksuits in on Monday 19th, and we will take care of the rest!
